Office decorated? Check.

You may remember back in March (Really? That long ago?!) when I was trying to decide what to hang on my office wall. The frames and photos arrived, and I finally got building services to drill some holes in the wall for me. I was a lunch break purchase of an electric drill away from doing it myself.


I added part of an unfinished vintage quilt to my wall, a few new frames for some of my art, and an antique lamp I just bought this weekend, and now I feel like it is finally done. Balanced, colorful, and just a little bit cluttered...just like home.

      Thanks! Search "unfinished quilt topper" on eBay or Etsy, and you should be able to find something similar usually. A twin size in reasonably good condition should be about $30-$40. Definitely don't pay more than that.

      They are the most recent Penguin (YA) Classics: The Secret Garden, Peter Pan, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Call of the Wild, The Adventures of Robin Hood, The Wind in the Willows, Black Beauty, and Anne of Green Gables. The box came to me at work, but I never took them home. Now they look too nice on my shelf!

    I love your office space! You are inspiring to make some changes to my work space. We spend so much time at work so we might as well enjoy it!

      Thank you. I've gotten lots of compliments here at work because most people don't do much with their offices here too. I'm sure I got particularly into decorating mine because I've waited so long to finally have one. However, you're completely right, we do spend almost as much time in our offices as we do at home, might as well make them a little more enjoyable. Good luck with your space!
